Ellen and I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Southern Utah RV Resort located in Washington, Utah, which is near St. George Utah. As we journeyed from Moab, we knew we were heading towards a comfortable stay, but we didn’t expect to find ourselves so close to two of the nation’s most majestic national parks: Bryce Canyon and Zion.
Now, about the resort. It’s relatively new, which means everything is in pristine condition. The moment we pulled in, we noticed how clean and well-maintained the grounds were. If you’re looking for amenities, they’ve got you covered. From a refreshing pool to get out of that Utah heat, to a pickleball court for some friendly competition – there’s something for everyone.
But what truly sets this resort apart is its location. Nestled in a modern, clean neighborhood, you’re not just getting the beauty of nature but also the conveniences of modern-day living. There’s a plethora of shopping options right around the corner, and if you’re looking for even more variety, Saint George is just a short drive away. There is also a very large dog park called Dog Park Town just a few blocks from the resort. We were amazed at the size and design of the dog park — you have to see it to appreciate it. Its a big investment on the part of the city.
Now, for all you RVers out there considering a visit to Southern Utah RV Resort, here’s my piece of advice: Do it. Not only do you get top-notch amenities and a strategic location near two national treasures, but you also get to be part of a community that truly understands and caters to the RV lifestyle.
